The Latest Scoop
Field Trip Fundraisers
We hope to have our next fundraiser starting by the end of January. Students will be selling cards that offer discounts to a variety of local businesses. It is very important that students sell the minimum amount expected in order to make sure we have enough funds for the trip in the spring.
Your child should have brought a flyer home regarding the bus trip to the Greektown Casino on Saturday, March 17th. If you are interested in going, please contact Barb Wyzga or Jessica Rogers. Seats are filling up quickly.
Student-corrected work
It is my policy to allow students to correct work that has been graded and return it to me. This allows students to improve their grades, but more importantly, it allows them to increase their learning on a subject. Often we learn best after we have made an error.
Unfortunately, I get very little work back that has been "fixed." Please remind your child that this is a very important aspect of their learning and encourage them to correct any mistakes they have made. All corrected work is sent home every Friday. Make sure you are asking your child about it.
